Lennar Homes is hard at work on its $1 billion residential communities within the ChampionsGate resort.
They debuted their new 16,000-square-foot Oasis Club resort-style clubhouse and activity center. The 12-acre campus is part of Lennar’s The Retreat at ChampionsGate village within the development and offers all homeowners a variety of activities, including a water park and an 18-hole championship golf course.
“The concept is that our owners and guests can live the resort lifestyle without leaving the community,” said Lennar Orlando Division President Brock Nicholas. “ChampionsGate has a number of vacation home phases, and primary home phases. The two types of uses converge with access to the Oasis Club.”
Lennar also plans to start construction in March on 375 homes in The Vistas at ChampionsGate, including both condominium units priced from the $190,000s to luxury golf town homes starting in the low $300,000s, Nicholas said.
To date, Lennar has 489 homes closed and/or sold in ChampionsGate, the builder’s 933-acre community, which was named one of Orlando Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals in 2012-13.
